Schedule payouts

Instead of creating payout runs by hand, you can have Referalli create and send one on the same day every month. This guide explains how scheduling works, how to set it, and what to check first.

Set the schedule

1. Open Settings

   Under Configure, select Settings and find the Payout schedule card.

2. Choose the day

   Under Run payouts on, choose Day 1 of each month through Day 31 of each month.

3. Save

   Select Save schedule. A message confirms the day, for example "Payouts will run automatically on day 1 of each month."

To stop scheduled payouts, choose Off — manual payout runs only and select Save schedule. Save schedule is greyed out until you change the choice. Owners, admins and finance members can set the schedule.

How scheduling works

• Referalli checks every hour. On your chosen day (in UTC), it approves every commission whose hold has ended, then creates a payout run and sends it straight away. You don't need to select Approve due holds first.

• It creates at most one run a day. If you already created a run that day, it skips the scheduled one.

• If you choose a day that a month doesn't have, such as the 31st, the run happens on the last day of that month.

• A scheduled run includes the same partners as a manual run: active partners with an approved balance over their minimum, a payout method and a tax form on file, and an exchange rate if they need one. See Approve commissions and pay partners.

• Balances held in a draft run you haven't sent aren't included. Execute or cancel old drafts on the Payouts page before the scheduled day.

The run appears on the Payouts page like any other.

Run due schedules now

In Tools, the Finance exports card has a Run scheduled payouts button. It runs your organization's schedule straight away if it's due today, without waiting for the hourly check. The result appears at the top of the page.
