Review fraud
Review fraud cases, check filtered traffic and approve or void individual referrals.
Referalli scores every click and opens a case when it spots something suspicious, such as a self-referral or click fraud. Nothing is deleted silently. Suspicious clicks are kept and shown to you, and every action you take is recorded in the audit log.
Review open cases
- Open Fraud
Under Trust, select Fraud.
- Read the case
Open cases lists each case with its kind, the partner, the types of evidence collected, its status and when it was opened.
- Decide
For an open case, choose one action:
Dismiss closes the case. If the case's referral was waiting for review, it's approved and starts counting.
Void referral cancels the referral, so it earns no further commission, and closes the case.
Suspend partner sets the partner's status to suspended and closes the case. They keep earning, but every payout is held until you reactivate them.
Ban partner sets the partner's status to banned in your organization, voids the case's referral, and closes the case. The ban applies to your organization only, and you can lift it later.
Referalli asks you to confirm each action except Dismiss.
What suspending or banning does
Suspended: the partner keeps earning. Commissions and bounties from their referrals are recorded as usual, but payout runs skip them and hold their balance. When you reactivate them, the next payout run pays everything approved, including what they earned while suspended.
Banned: the partner earns nothing new. Payments and trials from their referrals are still recorded as conversions, but no commissions or bounties are created for them, and none are created later if you lift the ban. Partners above them in a sub-affiliate chain get no share of those payments either. Payout runs skip them, and what they'd earned before the ban is held rather than forfeited.
To reactivate a suspended or banned partner, open them in Partners and select Reactivate. See Invite and approve partners.
Your ban doesn't affect the partner's work with other merchants. Only Referalli's platform admins can flag a partner's account across the whole network.
Check filtered traffic
The Filtered traffic card shows, for each day, how many clicks went over the fraud threshold, the total number of clicks and the average fraud score. Filtered clicks are recorded but don't count towards attribution. The Overview page also shows how many of your last 30 days of clicks were filtered.
Approve or void a single referral
Go to Referrals and select journey next to the referral.
The page shows how the customer was matched, the confidence, the attribution model and each click. Clicks that were filtered are marked with their fraud score.
If the referral is waiting for review, select Approve referral. To cancel it, select Void referral.
Run checks on demand
The Trust operations card in Tools runs checks straight away instead of waiting for them:
Recompute quality scores
Detect fraud rings
Scan for anomalies
Score invalid traffic (looks at the last 24 hours)
A short result appears at the top of the Tools page.
Partners can see why
Partners can see how each of their referrals was matched from the Earnings tab of their portal. This makes it easier to settle a disagreement with the facts.
