Connect a payment provider
Connect your own PayPal, Stripe, Wise, Circle, Payoneer or Tremendous account so payouts are sent from it.
Referalli pays partners from your own payment provider account. You connect the provider with your own credentials. Referalli never holds your funds and has no payment keys of its own. Credentials are encrypted when you save them and can't be shown again.
Connect a provider
- Open Payments
Under Configure, select Payments. The Payment connections page has one card for each provider.
- Get your credentials
Sign in to your account with the provider and create API credentials. The fields each provider needs are listed below.
- Enter them
Fill in the fields on the provider's card. Fields marked "(optional)" can be left empty.
- Choose the environment
Set Environment to Sandbox (test) while you're testing, or Live to send real money.
- Connect
Select Connect. The card shows when it was connected and in which environment.
What each provider needs
Provider | Fields |
|---|---|
PayPal Payouts | Client ID, Secret |
Stripe | Secret key (sk_…) |
Circle (USDC) | API key, Wallet ID, Default chain (optional) |
Wise | API token, Profile ID |
Payoneer | Client ID, Secret, Program ID |
Tremendous | API key, Funding source ID, Campaign ID (optional) |
Which provider pays which partner
Each partner chooses a payout method per merchant in their portal. A payout uses the provider that matches the partner's method:
Partner's method | Provider used |
|---|---|
PayPal | PayPal Payouts |
Wise | Wise |
Stripe | Stripe |
Bank transfer (ACH via Stripe) | Stripe |
Payoneer | Payoneer |
Gift cards & rewards (Tremendous) | Tremendous |
USDC (Circle) | Circle (USDC) |
Partners can pick any of these in the portal. Connect the providers for the methods your partners use. A payout method that's paid by hand outside Referalli (CSV) can be set for a partner through the API. See /docs.
If the provider for a partner's method isn't connected, that partner's payout fails with a message telling you which provider to connect. Nothing is marked paid: the balance stays owed, and the next payout run includes it again once the provider is connected.
Change or remove a connection
Rotate credentials: enter the new credentials on the card and select Rotate credentials.
Disconnect: select Disconnect and confirm. Payouts through that provider fail, and balances stay owed, until you connect it again.
Only owners, admins and finance members of your organization can manage payment connections.
