Create your links

Create tracked links for your programs, choose where they go, tag them with creative assets, and get QR codes.

A tracked link sends people to a merchant's site and records that they came from you. You can create as many links as you like, for example one for each page, video or post. You can only create links for programs that have approved you.

  1. Open Links

    In the portal, select the Links tab.

  2. Choose the program

    In Create a link, choose the merchant and program under Program.

  3. Choose the destination

    In Destination page (deep links welcome), enter the page people should land on, such as the merchant's pricing page.

  4. Pick a code (optional)

    In Custom code (optional), enter a short, memorable code such as yourname. Use letters, numbers and dashes. Codes are saved in lowercase and work in any case, so YourName and yourname reach the same link. Leave it empty and Referalli picks one for you.

  5. Tag an asset (optional)

    If the merchant has creative assets for this program, an Assets menu appears. Choose the banner, post or video you'll use the link with, so the merchant can see which creative brings in clicks.

  6. Create it

    Select Create link. The link appears in the list below.

If Create link is greyed out, no program has approved you yet.

Each link in the list shows two ways to share it:

  • The short link (the first line). It goes through Referalli and then on to your destination page.

  • The direct link (the line starting with "or"). It's your destination page with ?via= and your code added to the end. It goes straight to the merchant's site.

Both are credited to you. The list also shows how many Clicks each link has had.

Get a QR code

Select QR next to a link to open a QR code for it. Use it on printed material, slides or video.

Use creative assets

The Assets tab, titled Creative assets, shows what merchants have provided for the programs you're approved in, grouped by merchant and program. Images show as a preview, copy shows as text, and videos as a link.

  • Select Copy to copy an asset's text or address.

  • Select Open to open an image or video in a new tab.

  • Select Create a link to go to the Links tab with that asset's program and the asset already chosen. Enter the destination, then select Create link.

If the tab says there are no assets yet, none of your merchants has added any.

If you joined through a join page

Joining a program that approves you automatically creates your first link for you. It's already in your Links list.
