Publish a join page
Give a program a public page where affiliates sign up and get their link, with or without your approval.
A join page is a public sign-up page for one program, at /join/your-handle. Affiliates open it, sign in or create a partner account, and either get their link straight away or send you an application. You don't need to write any code.
Set up the page
- Open the program designer
Go to Programs and select designer next to the program.
- Choose a public handle
In Hosted affiliate page, enter a Public handle (letters, numbers, dashes), such as
acme-devtools. Use 3 to 48 lowercase letters, numbers or dashes. The handle becomes the page address. - Write a pitch
In Pitch (shown on the page), write a few sentences telling affiliates why they should join.
- Choose how people join
Leave Auto-approve new affiliates (off = review each application) ticked to let anyone join right away. Untick it to review each application yourself.
- Save
Select Save public page. The card shows the page address and an embed snippet.
The card always opens with what you last saved: the handle, the pitch and the auto-approve setting. To change one of them, edit it and save; the others stay as they are.
What affiliates see
The page shows your logo (if your branding has one), the program name, your organization name, the commission, the cookie length in days and your pitch. If the program has terms, affiliates can open Program terms to read them.
Affiliates who aren't signed in select Sign up to join (or Sign up to apply if you review applications). They sign in or create a partner account, then come straight back to the page.
They can enter Where will you send traffic? (optional), the page their link should point to.
They select Join & get my link or Apply to join.
With auto-approve on, they see You're in! and their link. With it off, they see Application received. and wait for you.
Review applications in the Applications card of the program designer. See Invite and approve partners.
Embed the form on your site
Below the page address, the card shows a two-line snippet. Paste it into your own website to show the sign-up form there instead of sending people to the hosted page.
Things to check
The program's Status must be Active. Otherwise the join page shows "Program not found".
To take the page down, clear the Public handle field and select Save public page.
If a partner already has a record you added with the same email, joining claims it. Their email must be verified.
